PUBLIC HEARING TO CLOSEOUT CDBG-08

 

 

Chairman Shingler called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. as advertised in the Donalsonville News.

This Public Hearing has been called for the purpose of closing out the CDBG-08 project. This project covered approximately one mile of street and drainage improvements of dirt road located in the Happy Hollow Neighborhood.  The project benefited 76 residents who live along the road. The total project cost was $460,950.  The CDBG-08 grant covered $356,383 and the remainder of $104,567 was funded by the county.   

After reviewing the project, Chairman Shingler opened the floor to all attendees for questions or comments they may have concerning the project.

Commissioner Miller asked Chairman Shingler who is responsible for signing off on a paving project such as this; Chairman Shingler responded our Road Department Superintendent and County Manager are assigned that duty.

Having no other questions or comments come forth, Chairman Shingler closed the hearing.
